FIELD: construction, particularly facing for indoor stairs or for stairs exposed to atmospheric precipitation and negative temperature action.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing concrete mix, pouring thereof in collapsible metal form; performing vibratory compaction of the mix; hardening thereof and removing ready article from form. Concrete mix is poured in vertical collapsible form having L-shaped cross-section through upper end orifice along with vibratory compacting of horizontal flat member, namely stair riser, for 3-5 min. Then upper end orifice is closed and concrete mix is vibratory compacted in form installed in V-shaped position with respect to horizontal surface for at least 30 sec. Facing member obtained by described method is also disclosed.
EFFECT: extended service life of facing subjected to cyclic freezing and thawing, decreased labor inputs for facing forming, improved nonskid properties of wet or frozen facing.
