METHOD FOR HYDRAULIC FRACTURING OF OIL BED Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: in realization of hydraulic fracturing of oil bed, selected is producing well with watering of recovered product not exceeding 20%. Selected producing well is located at distance from nearest injection well of not less than 300 m. Productive bed is located at distance from water-oil contact of not less than 5 m. Well is filled with mineralized water of higher density. Lower part of well is filled with sand, so as to close zone between oil-productive bed and water-bearing bed down to lower perforation holes or including lower perforation holes in oil-productive bed. Prior to carrying out hydraulic fracturing, mineralized water in well is substituted with oil. Hydraulic fracturing of oil bed is effected by using oil as fracturing liquid. Application of aforesaid method allows for elimination of water flooding of recovered product. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
