FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in development of oil deposit with reserves which are being defined. According to method, working agent is injected through injection wells, and oil is recovered through producing wells. Hydraulic fracturing of bed is performed in marginal zone of bed through well with waterless oil with availability of multiple layer reservoir of industrial thickness. When waterless oil appears in well after hydraulic fracturing of bed and when oil inflow is increased, seismic prospecting is undertaken beyond boundaries of deposit. In case of no sharp lowering of oil bed levels, conclusion is made that oil deposit is extended, and that deposit can be drilled over in projected direction. Application of aforesaid method allows for increasing oil recovery from deposit. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
