SUBSTANCE: apparatus has source of bactericidal chemical solution, solution supplying device and washing unit. Carcass conveyor is extending through washing unit having inner and outer sections with side and lower walls. Inner and outer sections are connected by end walls. Inner section defines space for receiving at least one animal carcass. At least one discharge nozzle adapted for supplying bactericidal solution to animal carcass inner surface is mounted in inner section, and at least one jet nozzle for supplying bactericidal solution to outer surfaces of carcass in mounted in outer section.
