FIELD: railway transport; maintenance and repair of rail track. SUBSTANCE: machine has frame resting on running bogies, endless chain conveyor for removing ballast crushed stone passed around rail track, and crushed stone removing device located between running bogies. Device is provided with special member for removing crushed stone from inter-tie space. This member is made flat, is driven-in between ties, is arranged in longitudinal direction of machine and is installed for displacement vertically, relative to carrying frame mounted on machine frame, over distance not less than 65 cm, from transient into working position. EFFECT: provision of quick setting of chain conveyor for removing the ballast crushed stone into working position at relatively small machine construction modifications. 5 cl, 4 dwg
