FIELD: astrophysical measurements, in particular, monitoring of important solar image parameter, which provides data about vertical gradient of density and temperature of solar plasma and serves as basis for models of solar physics. SUBSTANCE: method uses specific feature of Fabry-Perot interferometer which involves shifting maximal throughput band as function of square of sun light inclination angle. Integral spectral shape of light which is passed through Fabry-Perot interferometer from complete solar disk is represented as sum of shapes shifted to violet band with amplitudes of maximums corresponding to darkening function. Different regions of solar disk have equal weight in generation of signal, so required parameter is measured in single scan of spectral shape. EFFECT: increased speed and reliability of measurements. 2 dwg
