FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves dissecting seromuscular layers of stomach stump along the greater curvature upward to form anterior wedge-shaped edge. Tube is formed by putting in stitches. Tube end is brought downwards and sutured to the edge of duodenum mucosa using also muscular layer. Transverse folders are formed with U-shaped sutures on the anterior and posterior tube surfaces. The anterior wedge-shaped stomach stump edge is sutured into split part of the duodenum. The lesser curvature is sutured to Glisson's capsule of the liver and superior regions of gastrohepatic ligament. U-shaped flaps having limbs are cut out from the ligament. Circular suture of the gastroduodenal anastomosis is surrounded with the flaps. Inferior edges of the imbs are cut out from the ligament.
