FIELD: earth handling machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: equipment has following components: rigid supporting structure, surface fastening facility installed on supporting structure, ground excavation facility located below surface fastening facility, power drive unit connected with ground excavation facility and with surface fastening facility and intended for moving it against rigid supporting surfaces so as to create reverse reaction to forces which are generated by operation of ground excavation facility, and equipment moving facility. Equipment moving facility is connected with supporting structure for moving of equipment into basin and back from it. In another configuration, ground excavation equipment has following components: first rigid supporting structure and second rigid supporting structure which is connected with first structure, extending facility for displacement of second supporting structure relative to first supporting structure, rotary ground cutting mills installed on second supporting structure, and power unit connected with ground cutting rotary mills. Aforesaid arrangement of components allows for creation of small-size and mobile ground excavation devices adapted for operation in restricted areas. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 13 cl, 18 dwg
