FIELD: construction industry, construction of shallow-laid tunnels of various assignment. SUBSTANCE: invention is also used to construct tunnels under operational highways without interruption of traffic along them under conditions of soft grounds and in bodies of existing embankments or under embankments. Process of erection of underground structure with use of microtunneling includes formation of horizontal and vertical protecting shields in zones of its outer walls above floor of erected structure by forcing hollow extended members with the aid of microtunneling complex with simultaneous supply of thixotropic solution, development of ground in volume of erected structure under protection of shields by stopes with reinforcement of front of face, installation of supporting frames with temporary and permanent columns and erection of lining. At least one temporary protective longitudinal wall is built while forcing members of shield in ground in volume of erected structure as well as hollow extended members, this wall is positioned with displacement relative to longitudinal axis of erected structure or with displacement relative to axes of internal longitudinal bearing structures and with formation of two zones, as minimum, for development of ground along width of erected structure. As ground in volume of erected structure is developed sections of temporary protective longitudinal wall are removed. EFFECT: provision for safety of operations, economy and reliability of erected structure with enlarged width of its cross-section thanks to possibility of reduction of sizes of zones developed simultaneously with avoidance of technological obstacles in process of erection of internal longitudinal bearing structures. 24 cl, 14 dwg
