DEVICE FOR PRODUCING BRICK UNITS FOR WALLS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: production of building materials. SUBSTANCE: removable pallet is installed and fixed on table with side boards tipped out. Then side boards are returned to vertical position and are fixed relative to each other by means of locks. Placed in cells of pallet is first row of bricks. Due to presence of dividing partitions on pallet, bricks are placed in determined order and with determined intervals. Placed to row of bricks is layer of mortar. Thickness of this layer is such as to fill joints in underlining row of bricks or is equal to width of joint between adjacent bricks or to thickness of dividing partition. In placing following rows of bricks, those bricks which create facing and side surfaces of brick unit are moved in to rest against cells which are formed on working surface of side boards of pallet by dividing partitions. After brick unit is fully assembled, locks are removed, side boards of pallet are turned down on their pivoted joints and thus ready brick unit is released. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device allows for obtaining smooth side and facing surfaces of brick unit, similar horizontal and vertical joints, and high quality of dressing face joints.
