FIELD: turbine manufacture. SUBSTANCE: prior to mounting, bottom insert is horizontally cut into upper part joined with top insert and lower part. Both parts are equal in height. Lower part of insert is cut, in its turn, along vertical center lines into four fragments. Notch is made in side surface of upper part to pass insert through turbine casing brace in the course of mounting. Then upper part of bottom insert and four fragments of its lower part are inserted into turbine casing. Top insert is mounted on bottom one and both inserts are inspected for their reliable fixation. EFFECT: facilitated procedure and reduced time taken for mounting internal inserts as there is no need in chamber removal. 2 dwg
