FIELD: study of processes of contact interaction of materials. SUBSTANCE: method determining temperature of contact interaction for friction and cutting consists in integration of rubbing members in electric registering circuit. These members form natural thermocouple. Currents are measured at two different resistances of external circuit. Average thermoelectromotive force for definite time of contact is found by formula. Temperature of contact interaction is determined by found value of thermoelectromotive force. EFFECT: enhanced precision of measurement of temperature in area of contact. 1 dwg
