FIELD: fire-extinguishing equipment. SUBSTANCE: fire-extinguishing gun has dissipating member positioned behind gun nozzle outlet cut at compact flow path and formed as oval-shaped streamlined body or ball, i.e. edgeless body. Practically effective curvature radius of oval surface faced to nozzle cut may be changed, but maximum fog forming effect is reached, if curvature radius is 1.2-3 times as large as nozzle radius. When this ratio is reduced to 0.5, volumetric part of fog in dispersed spray beam is reduced to 0.5, and spray beam hitting range is increased. Such construction allows compact water jet to be dispersed so as to form finely dispersed foglike spray beam at reduced average pressures of 0.2-0.4 MPa in the regions downstream of gun. Natural water basin with contaminated water may be used as water source. EFFECT: simplified production, enhanced reliability in operation and convenient maintenance and operation. 1 dwg
