FIELD: metallurgy of deformed high-strength corrosion-resistant steels used in ship-building, manufacture of hydraulic turbines, in particular, in manufacture of parts of ship propellers and turbine wheels of hydraulic turbines operating in corrosive medium under the action of considerable static and cyclic loads. SUBSTANCE: steel contains ingredients in the following ratio, wt. %: carbon, 0.03-0.06; silicon, 0.04-0.4; manganese, 1.0-1.5; chromium, 14.0-15.5; nickel, 4.0-4.4; copper, 0.4-0.95; molybdenum, 0.01-0.28; cerium, 0.01-0.1; iron, the balance. Steel possesses at hot deformation with the following level of mechanical properties: yield strength, not more 650 MPa; ultimate strength, not more 709 MPa; relative elongation, not more 19%; corrosion fatigue of samples with cut on basis of 100x10106 cycles is 150 MPa. EFFECT: creation of highly-strength steel. 1 tbl
