FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy, in particular casting of bells. SUBSTANCE: method includes melting of metal, mixing of molten metal, its pouring into mold and casting crystallization. All melting operations are carried out in vacuum at residual pressure of 1•10-1-1•10-2 mm Hg. Melt mixing is effected by induced currents. Melt is poured into long-service graphite mold at optimal speed. Mold is preliminarily heated to temperature not below 400 C. During casting crystallization in mold, metal is additionally fed to bring shrink hole to sink head. EFFECT: manufacture of bells without gas and shrinkage porosity, nonmetallic inclusions and with fine-grained solid structure, and splendid, clear and melodious ringing. 2 cl
