MOVEMENT SYNCHRONIZER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; synchronization of movement of conveyor line on which flow of articles is moved and movable device made for reciprocating along article displacement line on conveyor line. SUBSTANCE: synchronizer has slider-crank mechanism including crank set into rotation by drive, and connecting rod acting between pin of crank and movable device to provide reciprocating of movable device at displacement of drive in one direction. It has also control device coupled with drive for selective control of drive speed, and pickup determining one of positions and speed of conveyor line and generating a signal taken by control device for synchronizing movement of movable device with movement of conveyor line. Control device is responsive to position of crank or movable device for selective control of drive speed during at least part of travel of movable device for maintaining constant speed of movable and corresponding speed of articles on conveyor line.
