FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: lines of total Px and static Po pressures of actuator of device determining flow rate of water are installed in pipe-line. Three ultrasonic converters are mounted on walls of measurement tube connecting lines Px and Po. One of them functions under mode of emission of probing pulses and two others operate under reception mode. Specified number of re-emissions is carried out. Information time interval is formed between moment of last even recording of probing pulse by first ultrasonic converter working under reception mode while conducting current measurement cycle and moment of corresponding odd recording of specified pulse by second ultrasonic converter operating under reception mode. Information time interval is filled with standard pulses and their number is used to evaluate momentary flow rate.
