FIELD: immunology. SUBSTANCE: method is accomplished by treating human peripheral blood lymphocyte culture and suspension of mouse (BALB/c) resident peritonial cells with solution of material being tested. This solution, if above-listed conditions are observed, may induce production of cytokines which are determined by standard identification methods. Results can be improved by adding non-steroid antiinflammatory drug, preferably indometacine. Method is also applicable in determining immunologic response of human individuals to therapy involving substances inducing cytokines.
