FIELD: fiber-optical communication lines. SUBSTANCE: fiber-optical connector is used in fiber-optical communication lines for connection of at least one first light guide to second light guide. Connector has jack plug for attachment of first light guide, socket for attachment of second light guide and for placement of mentioned jack plug, aid centering end of first light guide to end of second light guide and aid providing constant compression load between ends of light guides. Socket has case with internal space and hole for access into specified space. Centering aid includes plate having at least one groove and mounted for sliding in internal space of socket case in direction of one groove to accommodate light guide. EFFECT: simplified design, large density of wiring of connections of pairs of light guides and improved handling. 11 cl, 5 dwg
