FIELD: manufacture of fire protective gloves used by hot shop workers. SUBSTANCE: protective knitted glove has inner layer 1 and outer layer 2. Inner layer is formed as integral plain-woven glove knitted from cotton yarn. Cotton glove provides additional protection of hands from prolonged action of high temperatures and serves hygienic purposes, such as absorption of hand moisture. Outer layer is formed as glove knitted from twisted fire-proofing heat-resistant material such as synthetic high-polymer yarn. Palm part of outer glove is strengthened by additional layer 5 of isolating material covering palm top part and finger part adjacent to palm. Additional layer 5 improves hand protection without deteriorating glove working properties, such as elasticity and hygienic characteristics. Ribs fabric is used as isolating material manufactured from twisted yarn and synthetic high-polymer material threads. Glove part 6 adhering to wrist is made by rib knitting and is integral with glove made from twisted yarn, such as synthetic high-polymer yarn. Glove part 6 may be made of required length. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and wider operational capabilities. 2 cl, 1 dwg
