FIELD: mechanical appliances. SUBSTANCE: device has holder with cutting members. Holder is in the form of strip 1 which is provided with two cutting members 2, 3 having sharp cutting edges 4. Cutting edges 4 are located in plane of lower base 5 of strip 1. Made in strip are at least two through-holes 6, 7. Cutting edges of first cutting member 2 are formed by sector-like cut-out in strip body. For better convenience in service, if device has to be used for opening of glass ampoules of different configurations and different dimensions, central angle α of sector-like cut-out between cutting edges can be set within limits of 10-180 deg. Cutting edge of second cutting member 3 is formed by arc of circumference which is adjacent to lower base 5 of strip 1. For more convenience in use of device, made in strip is cylindrical through-hole 6 and tapered through-hole 7. Crossing of tapered surface of hole 7 and plane of lower base 5 of strip creates additional cutting edge 8. EFFECT: simplified design. 9 cl, 1 dwg
