FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: spacer grid has hexahedral rim with polyhedral cells placed inside it and joined together and to rim; among polyhedral cells there are hexahedral ones made of strip and provided with internal projections and notches; two hexahedral cells are mounted in diametrically opposite corners of rim; pentahedral cells are secured to the former and to adjacent faces of rim on right and left sides. Joined to non-adjacent faces of top and bottom parts of rim are tetrahedral cells; holes for passing central tube and each channel guide tube are formed by combination of two pentahedral cells placed in top part of central tube location and two ones in its bottom part as well as in location of each channel guide tube with tetrahedral cells placed on sides of location of mentioned tubes. Remaining space of rim is filled with tetrahedral cells each of whose joints are attached through two weld points to solid face of adjacent cell; internal projections of cells are parallel to each other and to cell axis and arranged in diametral opposition to center of each opposite face of cell; notches are parallel to them on common sides of each internal projection.
