FIELD: railway track construction technology. SUBSTANCE: track structure has trough-shaped reinforced concrete unit which is placed on protective layer of earth base. Placed in reinforced concrete unit is ballast layer of crushed-stone with density of 1.6-1.7 g/cu.cm. After that, placed is another ballast layer with density of 1.8-1.9 g/cu.cm and with thickness larger than thickness of lower layer. Spread between two ballast layers is diaphragm made of reinforcing and draining material. Sleeper-and-rail assembly is placed on upper ballast layer. According to method of erection, first ballast layer is placed and compacted on bottom of reinforced concrete unit, diaphragm is spread, second ballast layer is placed and compacted, and after placing of sleeper-and-rail assembly, undertaken is filling of intersleeper spacing.
