FIELD: semipermeable membrane manufacture technology. SUBSTANCE: semipermeable microporous ceramic membrane useful in purification and separation processes is manufactured by applying suspension layer onto porous carrier followed by drying and firing of resulting semiproduct. Solid phase of suspension consists of membrane layer filler particles not melting on firing and covered by glass binder shell. Such covered filler may be, for instance, alumino-borosilicate ceramics.
