FIELD: amplifying amplitude-modulated or two-position phase-keyed radio signals. SUBSTANCE: method involves regeneration of active loss with aid of controlled two-terminal network whose impedance is monitored by control signal incorporating frequency equal to double carrier of signal; reactive parameters of two-terminal network are much lower than active ones. Amplitude-modulated and phase-keyed signals are amplified by series connection of signal source current circuit to controlled two-terminal network; signal impedances of both are comparable. Adjustment of device is facilitated if phase- frequency dependence of impedance component is linear in operating frequency range. EFFECT: minimized quantity of uncontrolled parameters of two-terminal network, signal source, and load. cl, 7 dwg
