FIELD: medicine; impedance rheography; galvanopuncture reflexotherapy. SUBSTANCE: method is realized by passing of standard current pulses of preset parameters through object and measuring of impedance resistive component at moment of passing of first half-period of current pulse and impedance capacitive component when second half- period is passed. In this case, pulse form may be rectangular, triangular and sinusoidal, pulse repetition frequency is from 100 Hz to 500 kHz with controllable pulse duration, and pulse amplitude is from 1 to 12 V. Device intended for method realization has controllable generator, electrodes, detector unit, control and display system, and analog commutator. Detector unit includes two detectors connected between active electrode and corresponding outputs of analog commutator, input of which is connected to generator output. Control and display system is made as microprogram controller with analog commutator control circuits and circuits of data exchange with control personal computer. Control and display system also contains two digital buses, each of which is connected to one of amplitude detectors through their digital outputs, and input and output.
