FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: method is suitable in production of synthetic rubbers via solution polymerization and consists in mixing of polymer with steam and hot recycle water in crumb-former to form pulp after which pulp is degassed in two steps with intermediate concentration after each step. When pulp is concentrated after the first degassing step, concentrated pulp receives live steam in amount sufficient to maintain temperature condition of the second degassing step. Before concentrating the pulp after the second degassing step, water is replaced by water after the second concentration step and water which is withdrawn is fed into mixing process. EFFECT: increased efficiency in utilization of steam and reduced residual content of solvent in polymer. 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 2 ex
