FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: refuse chute is intended for removing refuse and domestic garbage in dwelling and public buildings and also in industrial structures. Refuse chute has shaft which is made up of internal shell manufactured from corrosion-resistant metal, and external shell which is assembled of segments manufactured from light-weight concrete or brick. Bricks are placed in one row on narrow side. Thickness of external shell is equal to 1/5-1/10 of internal diameter of shell. Aforesaid embodiment of refuse chute is ecologically clean, requires less materials to build and is less labour-intensive. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 5 dwg
