FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture of bottle type articles by blowing from preheated thermoplastic preforms. SUBSTANCE: installation for making hollow articles by blowing under pressure of preheated forms has form members with closing device, preform neck sealing device with sealer and preform stretching device. Sealer is made in form of hollow housing with shank provided with outer taper surface designed for engagement with preform neck. Preform stretching device has movable rod with end piece provided with working surface designed for engagement with inner surface of preform bottom. Working surface of end piece has raised pattern. Shank is made of wear resistant antifriction material, for instance, ceramics. Outer taper surface of hollow shank is made with taper from 0.1 to 0.3. EFFECT: provision of marking of article in process of manufacture, enhanced reliability of operation of sealer. 3 cl, 5 dwg
