FIELD: chemical technology; may be used in laser separation of carbon isotopes contained in freon-22. SUBSTANCE: method includes mixing of tetrafluoroethylene rich in 13C isotope with oxygen in mole ratio of 1:(1-1.2). Flow-through reactor is evacuated and heated up to 495-650 K. Mixture is supplied at linear velocity of 0.2-0.3 m/s. Pressure in reactor is 0.02-0.1 MPa. Reaction products are hydrolyzed at 210-280 K and 0.02-04 MPa. Isotopic composition of initial C2F4 and produced CO2 does not change, losses of C2F4 do not exceed 2%, carbon yield is 98-99%. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
