FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to peroxide simple perfluoropolyethers synthesized by oxidation of tetrafluoroethylene. Oxidation of perfluoroethylene is carried out at temperature from 100 C to 40 C in the absence of UV-irradiation but in the presence of chemical initiating agent taken among fluorine and alkylhypofluorites comprising above three carbon atoms under pressure from 0 to 15 relative bars and in the presence of solvent comprising hypofluorite onle or 8 mole % of hypofluorite of total solvent amount in reaction mixture. Invention ensures to synthesize perfluoropolyethers exhibiting the higher molecular mass with optimal value of peroxide number.
