FIELD: electric spark alloying. SUBSTANCE: method for electric spark alloying comprises steps of applying ultrasonic oscillations having induced and attenuated oscillation stages; exciting between electrode and alloyed part spark discharges by means of pulse current generator and applying discharge current pulse at time moment of reducing ultrasonic oscillation amplitude until its threshold value; selecting ratio of operation voltage of pulse current generator to maximum amplitude of ultrasonic oscillation pulse no less than 3-5 V/micrometer. Apparatus for performing the method includes acoustic oscillation system having terminal alloying electrode and pickup forming signal proportional to oscillation amplitude, pulse current generator and generator for forming bursts of exciting electric current of acoustic system. Pickup is connected through signal amplitude limiter with both above mentioned generators.
