FIELD: chemical technology of extractive recovery of palladium. SUBSTANCE: hydrochloric acid solution containing palladium and impurities, including platinum, . and 2.0-5.0 M hydrochloric acid is extracted. Extracting agent is sulfoxide solution having concentration of 10-40 %. Extract is washed with 1.6-4.0 M hydrochloric acid solution. Palladium is reextracted with 25% ammonia. EFFECT: high degree of extraction (at least 99.5 %) is attained, and products of high purity (at least 99.98%) are obtained.
