FIELD: metallurgy; electromagnetic refining, batching, transfer and agitation of conducting melts in the course of preparation and casting of melts. SUBSTANCE: device has metal line with lined cylindrical channel whose inlet inside is provided with intake valve and located at the outlet are boundary conical-cylindrical metal branches and axial cylindrical metal branch with filters installed on them. In this case, metal line is embraced by induction coil over its entire length. Separation of impurities with different specific densities into fractions and their withdrawal through metal branches from casting process are effected by means of centrifugal and centripetal forces developed due to intensive rotation-translational motion under the effect of travelling electromagnetic field of induction coil. Main flow of melt is additionally cleaned by passing through fine filter installed from internal side of boundary metal branch and supplied to casting machine mold. EFFECT: separation of conducting melt into fractions of high, medium and low specific density and withdrawal of high and low specific density fractions from further technological process. 1 dwg
