PROCESS OF DRYING-UP AND LOADING OF BOREHOLES Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2130584 C1

FIELD: blasting operations with deep-hole charges during opencast mining of mineral resources. SUBSTANCE: loading hose surrounded with jacket of film material enclosed in its turn with separable cylindrical shell with horizontal disc and rubber tabs over disc perimeter is lowered into flooded borehole to its face. Supplying compressed air into loading hose blows out jacket of film material forcing water out of boreholes through slits between rubber tabs placed on edges of disc. Entire column of water is driven out of borehole by lifting cylinder with disc and supplying compressed air without interruption. After it borehole is loaded with non-waterproof explosive under condition of loading of dry boreholes. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of drying and loading of boreholes. 8 dwg
