FIELD: methods for charging of flooded holes with explosive at opencast mining. SUBSTANCE: after dewatering the hole surface is damp-proofed by a shell obtained from a tape of waterproof paper simultaneously unreeled from two spools installed on both sides of the hole, passing the tape through a funnel. The end of the charging hose is placed on the tape sagging, and the tape is lowered under pressure to the hose face. The tape is placed on the two sides of the hole in the form of semi-cylinders overlapping its surface with superposition of the tape edges due to the fact that the tape width exceeds half the circle length of the hole being charged. After formation of the waterproof shell the hole is charged with explosive. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and safety of hole charging. 2 dwg
