FIELD: railway transport; prevention of accidents. SUBSTANCE: method comes to power action onto obstacle by projecting member of locomotive. Projecting member is made in form of pneumatic cylinder. Explosive charges are placed in pneumatic cylinder bottom. Piston position pickups are arranged over pneumatic cylinder generatrix to generate charge exploding signal. Piston is arranged in front of cylinder. Charge combustion products act onto piston moving it forward to shift obstacle. EFFECT: reduced action onto locomotive at collision with obstacle.
