SUBSTANCE: apparatus has heat-insulated cylindrical channel, liquid coolant supply pipe and liquid coolant discharge pipe, which are connected to heat-insulated channel, product charging and discharge devices. At least two collectors are positioned in channel at opposite sides of its axis. Hydraulic swirlers are mounted on collectors so that swirlers axes are offset one relative to another and positioned at an angle to transverse axis of channel. Hydraulic swirlers may be provided with spherical casing and may be mounted for rotation of liquid coolant supply channel about all axes. Swirlers are equipped with stop members. EFFECT: increased efficiency and intensified cooling process by utilizing kinetic energy of coolant streams. 2 cl, 4 dwg
