FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: cooler has evaporator with cylindrical shell, heat-exchanging surface formed as hollow cylinder and cylindrical deflector closed at the top side. Hollow cylinder and deflector are coaxially mounted within evaporator. Water tank is positioned in lower part of deflector. Water tank inner wall adjoins lower part of deflector and outer wall embraces shell so as to define cylindrical space, which is overlapped at its upper end with spherical semitoroid. Air channel defined by cylindrical space has turns allowing direction of channel to be ubruptly changed. Such construction facilitates effective separation of sand particles and dust from air and intensive cooling by uniform running of air flow about heat-exchanging surface. EFFECT: increased heat output by using kinetic energy of wind flow, improved cooling efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
