FIELD: poultry-processing industry, in particular, equipment for cooling bird's carcass prior to packaging. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has heat-insulated chamber with aerosol spraying section and air cooling section, which are separated by partition walls provided with windows sized and configured to conform with hangers carrying carcasses. During operation of conveyor, hangers with carcasses periodically serve as gates during passage through windows. Aerosol is settled on carcasses in section defined between partition walls, with moisture being prevented from penetration into air cooling section. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved cooling parameters of equipment. 4 dwg
