FIELD: antenna-waveguide microwave equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has two rectangular waveguides which are positioned at right angle to one another, has arbitrary section area and share one piece of wide wall, which has two identical slot arrays which are parallel to longitudinal axis of one waveguide. Each arrays consists of pairs of parallel narrow oblique slots which are positioned at equal distance from axial line of one waveguide and spaced by λв/4 in another one. Minimal travelling wave rate is achieved by short slots which length is within range of (0,1-0,4)λ. Desired coupling loss is achieved by choosing number and size of slots (within range of 0,1-0,4λ). EFFECT: sharp beam pattern for arbitrary but identical position of adjacent slots in both arrays, increased electric strength and increased stability of electric characteristics within band, in particular, for low coupling loss. 7 dwg
