FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method includes positioning of electrodes on chest. Electrodes are arranged in region of heart anatomic projection so that they are spaced at distance of less than 50 mm from each other. They must form at least two coordinate systems with common crossing of axes in center. Each coordinate system consists of two pairs of electrodes, and each doubling coordinate system is turned relative to main one through certain number of degrees so that axes of these systems are not superposed on each other. Electrocardiogram for subsequent analysis is taken by recording the electromotive force in each of coordinate systems formed. Then average value of vector of heart electromotive force at every moment of time is calculated. Method allows considerable reduction of noise level (to 1 mcV and lower) due to decrease of cophasal interference. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 1 dwg
