FIELD: chemical methods in mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for diffusion welding of nickel, iron, and cobalt parts at temperatures much lower that melting temperatures of metals in question. Special paste is applied onto spots to be joined, dried, and calcined in air. Hardened past firmly cements parts. Subsequent hydrogen-reduction of cement stone of paste into metal and welding itself complete the process. Paste is composed of mixture of metal to be welded and its oxide plus aqueous solution of ammonium phosphate as binder. Powder constituent consists of two fractions: 65-75% of coarse fraction (- 0.125+0.1 mm) and 25-35% of fine oxide fraction (1.5 mcm). Ammonium phosphate solution has density 1.05-1.1 g/cu.cm and variable basicity to provide desired hardening time. EFFECT: enabled welding of hollow, porous, and thin open-work parts both in overlapping and butt manner. 3 cl, 2 ex
