FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to installations permitting isolation of fine metal powder fractions. Aerodynamic method includes disaggregation of conglomerates, centrifugal sizing in spiral ascending flow, and recycle of medium fraction particles and is distinguished by that, in the center of spiral ascending flow, descending flow of medium fraction particles of dust-gas mixture is formed and directed into the start of centrifugal separation process. Such fraction, when isolated, is further subjected to flotation separation with limiting grain size 3-5 mcm. Installation comprises centrifugal sizer, rotor with drive, dispenser and pipe to supply powder into sizer, discharge pipes and collection tanks for separated fractions, flotation separation chamber arranged coaxially with centrifugal separation chamber and rotor axis of rotation.
