FIELD: displacement-type compressor machines. SUBSTANCE: compressor has dynamically balanced cam-type operating mechanism using single-plane layout of cylinders and basic structural members. Cam functions as flywheel and at the same time sets piston motion both in forward and backward directions. Pushrod support is free to turn along cylinder axis and to provide for self- setting of cam rollers in cam groove. Articulated joint of piston is spring-loaded floating member that ensures shock-free operation of piston without side pressure. EFFECT: greatly reduced mass of pistons and friction force in piston-and-cylinder assembly. 3 dwg
