FIELD: contact sealing devices or bearing-and-guiding devices used in hydraulic units, mainly in hydraulic cylinders. SUBSTANCE: sealing member consists of working and bearing surfaces of bar forming contour surfaces of member in form of set of similar geometric figures corresponding to transversal sections of bar which are engageable inside moulding sealing member by side parts. Continuous parametric set of similar geometric figures is made in form of planer polygonal forms having at least one pair of oppositely parallel sides between their side parts which are located at distance equal to at least maximum magnitude of clearance to be sealed; one of them forms contour of bar which performs function of working surface of sealing member and opposite side is used as bearing surface; side engageable parts have relatively corresponding configuration.
