SUBSTANCE: chain curtain is made from freely hanging chains secured on guide plates forming multi-start helical line; space between them is lined with reinforced heat-resistant concrete. besides that, reinforcing plates whose height is equal to 0.4 to 0.9 of helical guides are placed between helical guide plates; they are located at equal to 0.4 of angle of helical guides relative to generatrix of furnace to 90 deg; metal reinforcing spirals with diameter of turn equal to 0.6 to 0.95 of height of plates are laid between reinforcing plates. Distance between reinforcing plates over circumference is equal to 0.01 to 0.08 of pitch of helical guides and thickness of layer of heat-resistant concrete is equal to height of reinforcing plates. Edge of reinforcing plates adjoining the body have comb-like form. Additional reinforcing plates of equal height mounted between main reinforcing plates are located in parallel with helical guides. EFFECT: reduction of wear of lining in chain zone; reduction of dust entrainment and specific construction of fuel; enhanced productivity. 3 cl, 4 dwg
