FIELD: reworking of solid wastes in public services and industries through gasification accompanied by formation of final products of flue gases and coke-and-ash residual whose composition satisfies environment control requirements. SUBSTANCE: device includes inner housing, units for delivery of wastes and discharge of coke-and-ash residual, heating chamber located on the outside of housing and provided with furnace equipped with units for delivery and combustion of fuel and pyrolysis gas, delivery of air and discharge of combustion products. Walls of housing on side of heating chamber are provided with movable partitions whose axes of turn are perpendicular to longitudinal axis of housing and their width is equal to or is lesser than clearance between walls of housing and heating chamber. Distance between axes of turn of two adjacent partitions is equal to or is lesser than their width. Partitions are provided with temperature bimetallic swivel devices. One or both sides of each partition are coated with heat-insulating material. EFFECT: enhanced stability of pyrolysis process due to control quantity of heat transferred to pyrolysis zone depending on quantity of heat formed in the course of burning pyrolysis gas. 4 cl, 5 dwg
