FIELD: public utilities. SUBSTANCE: this apparatus designed for manufacture of activated coal includes vertically positioned activation chamber, stock feeding device, vertical pipe disposed centrally inside activation chamber, activating agent feeding device, heating chamber located clear of activation chamber, fuel and air supply means, and overflow pipe. Vertical pipe extends throughout entire length of activation chamber, its upper end communicates with dust separator and its lower end is positioned to make up ejection system above lower outlet of overflow pipe which communicates upper portion of activation chamber with its lower portion which houses activating agent feeding device. Lower end of vertically positioned pipe is provided with vertically moving coupling. EFFECT: more sophisticated design. 2 cl, 1 dwg
