FIELD: power engineering; study of combustion processes of burning of liquid fuel and testing burner devices. SUBSTANCE: stand provides for simulation of burning fuel in any fire boxes of technological furnaces and marine steam boilers and obtaining different degree of shielding the box as a whole and along length of flame of burner device; to this end, fire stand is provided with units for connection with coils forming shielding surface of fire box and sets of detachable coils having different diameter of tubes and their pitches, thus making it possible to change degree of shielding from 0 to 85 percent.
